I would like to kick off 2012 by giving my opinion of the on great game titles to watch out for this year and to also reflect on the highlights of 2011 for me.

2011 was a great year for new releases in the Xbox department bringing MW3 assassins creed revelations and many more titles to young gamers to the most experienced each person having their favorites. I personally have enjoyed assassins creed and marvel vs capcom 3.

 

MvC3 - This beat em up game has absolutely destroyed my will to live lol, only joking i have found this game mind blowing because of the intense fights that happen within the game. The choice of characters and fighting styles is great and the 3 vs 3 fighting means your able to offer assists, build huge combos and switch out during matches. 

With all games tho there is a downside and this is the online multiplayer, Ensure you have learned how to build effective combos and have a rock solid 3 fighters as online is incredibly difficult, Also other gamers seem to favor using the same ranged attack in order to win [nooooooooobs]. 

To finish this game on a high I will say that it has really opened my eyes to beat em ups and left me wanting more.

2012

We all know what to expect this year ...........HALO4!!!!!!!!! but before we get to that there are many other great games to sample in the build up to H4.

There you have it my personal favorites for 2012 I'm gonna take this opportunity to talk about one of them and it isn't HALO 4 because the majority of people already know what to expect with it.

DARKSIDERS 2

Right first of all the reason I've chosen this game to talk about is because I don't think many people have played the first Darksiders.

 .DARKSIDERS STORY - This game is all based around the 4 horseman of the Apocalypse ( War, Famine, Pestilence and Death). Who will be awakened when judgement day arrives, these horseman will be sent to earth to judge every human, angel and demon and thus decide there fate ie- death or sanctuary.

War is the 1st horseman and is awakened before judgement day in a diabolical plot which i will not reveal. He arrives on earth in an amazing cutscene i might add and begins on the warpath cutting down all in his path. During his rampage he begins to lose his god like powers and is eventually brought before the charred counsel ( big bosses who oversee all ) and accused of prematurely starting the Apocalypse.

War's reply to this charge is that he was summoned by the gong ( alarm clock of the Apocalypse ) and he asks where his brothers and sister are. THEY STILL SLUMBER!

The counsel agree to let War try and clear his name and so he sets forth on a great story..................

 

DARKISIDERS 2

This game follows on from DARKSIDERS when War saw his brothers and sister awaken from their sleep and enter the Apocalypse battle.

This game follows the horseman death who is also out to assist his brother and clear his name and destroy any and all who step in between his quest for redemption. The game features a significantly bigger world, improved weapon and armor upgrade and a whole load of new beasties to destroy.
