Halo: Helljumper is a fan made series adapted from the short story "Dirt" from Halo: Evolutions. Two episode have already been released and now their creators are looking for funding for the next two episodes.

So there has been a lot discussion on the bloom vs no bloom debate, with arguments for one over the other and everywhere in between.



First let's make the distiction between the two extremes (using a DMR as the weapon of choice)...



Bloom: With bloom a DMR will be at it's most inaccurate within 5 shots if fired at maximum rate. The targetting reticle expands to many times its original size and a shot can land anywhere within that reticle. This means that except at close range, spamming that trigger COULD yield results but could also result in a huge amount of fail ending with you sitting in respawn. [More]

  Present A lot of people lately have asked me how Halotracker has been doing with the shut down of Halocharts.   For the last 2-weeks we saw about a steady 30% increase in usage of the site, and easily put on 40,000 gamertags in our tracking system.  That is quite the increase, but much lower then I expected.  Still, we seem to climb steadily.  The great news is despite the increased traffic load and data storage, the site has remained as fast as it ever was.   More...

Halotracker was founded May 10th, 2010 by a group of like minded individuals.  Individuals who were obsessed with stats and community.  The founding members are xorth, blinkz, and The Jerk.  We got started very late in the stats game, but quickly became a crowd favorite.  Our down to earth atmosphere, quickly made new users comfortable, and through their loyalty, and requests for features, Halotracker quickly grew to be dominate in the stats arena.   More...
